One of the suspicious deaths in the country after July 15 occurred in Isparta. Businessman Vedat Savlu, for whom a search warrant was issued, fell from the balcony of his house on the 4th floor during the police raid on his house. The businessman, who was hospitalized, could not be saved. Isparta Police Department teams went to the house of businessman Vedat Savlu on Sülübey Street, for whom a detention warrant was issued for allegedly providing financial support to the Hizmet Movement. On August 2, 2016, at around 06:30 in the morning, businessman Savlu, who saw the police coming, allegedly lost his balance and fell to the ground while trying to escape from the balcony of his house on the 4th floor. Savlu, who was taken to the Private Şifa Hospital by the ambulance called by the police, could not be saved.
There has been no effective investigation into Savlu’s death.
