Biography

Doctor Kadir Yildiz was taken into custody. He was not allowed to work in any hospital after being released because, like everyone who was expelled by the Decree or was arrested with allegations of being a member of the Hizmet Movement, he was stigmatized as `Gulenist. A job cannot be given!’. Private business owners, who do not want to get into trouble with the regime, do not give jobs to those under the regime’s radar for fear of confiscating their workplaces in Erdogan’s Turkey.

Yildiz passed away due to the problems he experienced after the so-called coup d’etat on July 15.

Kadir Yildiz worked as a Chest Diseases Specialist in a private hospital in Malatya. Yildiz was detained on October 20, 2016, on charges of aiding a terrorist organization, allegedly affiliated with the Hizmet movement, due to the payments in return for getting a home loan from Bank Asya. Bank Asya was allegedly the Gulen followers` bank.

Released after five days of detention, Yildiz’s appointment letter at the hospital was cancelled. He was also not allowed to work in other institutions.

He passed away while being treated in Ankara High Specialization Hospital (Ankara Yukses Ihtisas Hastanesi), where he was taken by ambulance helicopter as a result of his illness due to heart failure, which emerged due to the sadness and troubles he experienced.
