Ihsan Akdeniz, 87, was one of the well-known businessmen of Istanbul. Unfortunately, he had to leave his homeland and died of Covid 19 disease in Germany. Akdeniz was also a pioneer in education investments in African countries.

Ihsan Akdeniz was well-known philanthropy and educational activities in and in African countries. He built many educational institutions. However, the regime shut down the institutions he made in Turkey and started an investigation against him. Despite his advanced age, he had to leave his homeland to avoid unfair trials. Akdeniz took refuge in Germany; however, he got Covid 19. Akdeniz’s body, treated at the Hanau Hospital for 13 days, could not bear what he experienced any longer and passed away abroad.
