Husamettin Ozaydin was an English Language teacher who trained thousands of students in 20 years of his service. Although he had nothing to do with the coup attempt, he was expelled from his profession with Emergency Decree-Law No. 672 while on duty in Siirt. Then he was taken into custody and detained for 14 days under challenging conditions. He was under medication constantly during this difficult time. After Ozaydin was expelled and his life was darkened, he could not find any job and could not work due to his heart disease. Hence, his son, studying in high school, had to drop out of school to work. Ozaydin, married and father of 4 children, whose heart could not cope with the difficult time, social pressure and financial difficulties any longer, passed away on 24 December 2017 as a result of a heart attack.
