Biography

Hayrullah Tamturk, purged from his duty by the Decree-Law while serving as a Deputy Police Commissioner in Bilecik, couldn’t cope with what he went through and committed suicide. Tamturk ended his life with the rope he tied to the ceiling when no one was at his father-in-law’s house in Sakarya Karasu, where he went with his wife and children.
