Biography

Halit Kesgin, an imam and a preacher, was imprisoned for 17 months after being dismissed from his profession with a Decree-Law. He died because his heart could not cope with the injustices. Kesgin’s heart, who was unjustly imprisoned for 17 months and then released, could not cope with the injustices any longer. He passed away on 10 August 2019 in Demirci, Manisa, as a result of a heart attack.
