The accident occurred on the 60th kilometre of the Konya-Aksaray highway on February 8, 2018, at around 09.00 am. Metin Turkoglu was driving the car with license plate 42 JD 111. He lost the car’s control and crashed it into the culvert wall in the stockade. In the accident, the driver Turkoglu along with Cevdet Turkoglu and Halil Turkoglu got stuck in the vehicle. The gendarmerie and paramedic team have arrived at the scene. Metin Turkoglu and Cevdet Turkoglu, who were removed from the car, could not be saved despite all the efforts of the medical teams. Halil Turkoglu, who was in serious condition, was taken to Konya Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. Metin Turkoglu was the Deputy Chairman of the Karapinar Chamber of Agriculture.
