Cemil Caglayan’s heart could not bear the sufferings of his son and he passed away in the in Izmir.
Ahmet Caglayan was an educator who had been an administrator in Hizmet schools for many years. His father, Cemil Caglayan, became ill because his old heart could not stand the sadness and the longing his son endured. Cemil Caglayan fell to the ground, was taken to the hospital, and died from a cerebral haemorrhage. Ahmet Caglayan, who was subjected to forced asylum abroad within the scope of Hizmet investigations, could not attend his father’s funeral.
