It was stated that the police officer  in Bursa, Cahit Korkmaz, committed suicide by shooting himself in the heart with his service pistol.

 It was learned that 44-year-old Police officer Cahit Korkmaz committed suicide by shooting himself in the heart with a service pistol after saying that he was afraid to get involved in the Hizmet Movement operation. On October 25, 2016, in an incident at the Cekirge Police Center in Osmangazi district, Korkmaz, an 18-year-old Police Officer who served as an archive officer, allegedly went to the restroom after praying and fired a single shot at his heart with his service pistol. Colleagues who rushed to the room after the gunfire found Korkmaz lying in blood. Korkmaz, who was taken to the hospital by his friends, lost his life. It was learned that he told his friends as follows: “Will they involve me in their operations because I pray, will they put me in jail, will my family be miserable? I’m very scared if I get stuck in Bylock investigation”  It was learned that Korkmaz left a note to his family saying, “I love you very much, you have no influence on my suicide, only my fear has put me in this situation”.
