Ali Orhan, who was transported to the prison from the prison, was placed next to Covid patients in the quarantine ward at Bolvadin Prison, where he was last sent.  Orhan died here from the coronavirus. 

Ali Orhan was a mechanical engineer and worked at Ictas. He retired in 2016 after a successful professional life. After July 15, he was arrested as part of Cemaat investigations and sent to prison. He was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison on the grounds of investing money in Bank Asia and sending his child to a certain school. 

Although he had no health problems when he was put in prison, he suffered from asthma because he had been lying on the floor for seven months in Kandıra Prison. He was transferred from Kandıra to Sakran Prison and from there to Afyon Bolvadin Prison in February 2021. Hewas infected with  Coronavirus as he was staying with Covid patients in the quarantine ward at Bolvadin Prison. He tested positive on March 24. After 3 days, he was hospitalized in intensive care. As it was late in the diagnosis, his family was informed too late. When his condition worsened, the patient was sent to the intensive care unit in his bed, but unfortunately it was too late. His family was longing for him, he was longing for his family and his freedom, and he said goodbye to life with this craving.
