While Ali Araz was working as a subcontractor cleaning worker in Mersin Akdeniz Municipality, which the government appointed a trustee, he was dismissed as a result of the security investigations carried out within the scope of the Decree No. 696. Becoming tremendously upset, Ali Araz, 54, died because of a heart attack. Father of 8 children, the youngest of whom was nine years old, Ali Araz experienced great sadness and stress after being fired on April 2. Although Araz did not have any heart disease, he had a heart attack on April 11. He had been under observation for days in the intensive care unit of Mersin City Hospital and passed away on April 24, 2018.
