Dozens of people were abducted across the country, especially in Istanbul Ankara Izmir, by the MIT, police, paramilitary structures and special units and gangs formed within the state. Black Transporters replaced the Toros in the 1990s. Kidnapping incidents spread from Africa to Asia and Europe. Organized Crimes were committed by state institutions. Educators, doctors, civil servants and dozens of people were deprived of their freedom for months and years and were subjected to torture and inhumane treatments.
March 29, 2018, Mustafa Erdem, a teacher working at Mehmet Akif College in Kosovo, was abducted by MIT’s illegal operation and brought to Turkey and arrested on April 12, 2018.
