Yunus Emre Yaylacı was a student of Maltepe Military High School. His school was closed during the State of Emergency.
Yunus Emre, who was transferred from the Military Academy to Galatasaray University after the liquidation of the military students, passed away on May 17, 2018 as a result of a brain hemorrhage due to the stress he experienced.

Yunus Emre was a successful student. He had realized his first dream and won Maltepe Military High School. After July 15, he experienced the first shock when his school was closed. Although he started to study sociology in order to hold on to life, the unfair prosecutions against the students of the military schools that were closed caused stress for Yunus Emre, like many of his friends. Yunus Emre Yaylacı, who fell into a coma as a result of a brain hemorrhage in the school canteen, passed away 12 days later.
