Habibe Cimen was a 31-year-old teacher who was dismissed from her profession with a Decree-Law. She died in the hospital, where she was treated for cancer. Cimen and her husband Mustafa Cimen were taken into custody in Ankara and taken to Amasya due to the so-called terrorist organization investigation and kept in custody for five days. After the detention process, her husband Mustafa Cimen was arrested, and Habibe Cimen was released. Although Habibe Cimen‘s husband was in prison during her cancer treatment and chemotherapy, she had a difficult time as her two young children required care. She died in the hospital, leaving behind her husband in prison and her two children aged 1 and 5 years old.
