A prison warden who lost his job was found hanging from the stairwell of his apartment building in Adiyaman. Enver Senturk’s apparent suicide on Oct. 12 was the third self-inflicted death in as many days over alleged links to Fethullah Gulen, the Pennsylvania-based Turkish cleric whom the government blames for the July 15 coup attempt.
According to the news of Yeni Asya newspaper dated October 13, 2016, Enver Senturk was married and a father of one child. Living on the 8th floor of a 10-storey building in Musalla District, Adiyaman, Senturk committed suicide by putting the rope around his neck in the stairwell of the building late at night. The residents of the building, who woke up in the morning, saw Senturk and informed the paramedics and the police. In control made by the paramedics, it was determined that Senturk was dead. After the police investigation, Senturk ‘s body was taken to Adiyaman University Training and Research Hospital morgue for autopsy.
