Ilkay Mutlu, 38, was a teacher and expelled from the profession she loved, both herself and her husband, with the Decree-Law. As a result of the suffering she endured, she got cancer. After being dismissed from her job, Mrs Mutlu was reinstated by saying ‘pardon’; nevertheless, she could not overcome cancer and passed away due to the troubles she experienced, as well as social pressure and sadness.
