The Theologian writer Halil Simsek, who devoted his years to the service of faith and the Koran in Germany since 1992, passed away on February 2, 2021 in a hospital where he was being treated for coronavirus.
Halil Simsek was born in 1958 in Corum, Iskilip, the hometown of Atıf Hoxha from Iskilip. In Tokat he completed his education at Imam-Hatip High School, and then at the Faculty of Theology of Ankara. In 1992, he emigrated to Germany. After arriving in Europe, he continued his services. He worked as a manager in various associations working towards Turkish-German friendship.
He has also written numerous articles in European Time. Simsek, who has a book called The Holy Journey, until his death he was still writing on Hizmetten.com . After the July 15 process, he continued to support the victims and to give them morale. After undergoing stomach surgery, he contracted Covid-19 a in the hospital. He was taken to intensive care. He passed away on February 2, 2021 in the hospital where he was being treated. His funeral was held in Essen, Germany.
