Vahip Kara was paralyzed and in intensive care for 3 years. His condition was critical. His teacher son Gokhan Kara was arrested for a witch hunt after July 15 and has been in prison for 2 years. Father Vahip Kara passed away before he could see his son for the last time.

When Kubra was a 5-month-old baby, her father was unlawfully arrested. In February 2020, she was diagnosed with a brain stem tumour at a young age. While her little body was in pain, her only prayer in her tongue was, “O Almighty, please give back me my father”. However, her imprisoned father was not allowed to see her. Little Kubra died on February 14, 2021, longing for her father.
