Imam-Hafiz Osman Caydan was expelled from his profession by Decree No. 672, issued when he was the Imam Orator of the Celebi Mehmet Mosque affiliated to the Grand Mufti of Antalya Kepez. Caydan suffered a heart attack due to the sadness and stress he experienced and died on November 18, 2018 as a result of the persecution he was subjected to. Caydan had graduated from Antalya Imam Hatip High School in 1990. He was a religious official who loved his profession. His funeral was held at Antalya Kepezalti Cemetery.
