Eyup Cabar was a Religious Culture Teacher at Gaziemir Sehit Ugur Palanci Secondary School, Izmir, and he was purged from his profession with a Decree-Law. He could not cope with the trauma and lawlessness he experienced, and unfortunately, he passed away due to a heart attack. Cabar was 55 years old, married and had four children.
