Biography

Mehmet Akbiyik was a chemistry teacher in a private coaching centre shut down by Decree-Law. He was detained for seven months as part of community investigations. Akbiyik, who has FMF and Mediterranean fever, suffered a brain haemorrhage due to the sadness and stress he experienced. Akbiyik, the father of 3 children, passed away in the intensive care unit of Aydin Adnan Menderes University.
