Huriye Boydak, the mother of the detained brothers Haci, Memduh and Bekir Boydak, died on October 7, 2016. Huriye Boydak, whose 3 sons and many close relatives were arrested by the regime on fabricated allegations and all their wealth was confiscated, died in the hospital in Kayseri. Huriye Boydak had a heart attack and was taken to Acibadem Kayseri Hospital. Despite all the medical interventions in the hospital, Huriye Boydak lost her life.

Memduh Boydak was first detained during the operation against Meliksah University. He was greeted by his mother, the late Huriye Boydak, who greeted him at home when he was later released.
